a little PDA is fine, maybe you should just surprise her and do it, to loosen her up. ehh, that might not be such a good idea...

When we seek physical affection from those we love and it's not reciprocated, it's only normal to feel disappointed and even hurt. She may have some underlying fears or insecurities that may or may not relate to you. She may be a timid individual. Perhaps, in her home affection is not openly displayed and she doesn't know how ~ or ~ it could be the standards her parents instilled. There could be many reasons that don't pertain to you, personally, and the best way to handle the issue is to discuss it with her (without demeaning or attacking). Whatever answer she may give you, if you truly value the relationship, respect her wishes. (keep in mind: she may never change her mind) Patience and respect has been known to accomplish the impossible and may very well graduate you both to a hug, before you know it. Finally!....making that first kiss worth waiting for!!

I could understand her not wanting to make out in public,or anything like that (i wouldn't either), but I don't understand why she can't even give you a hug or a little kiss, though, so i don't think you're wrong to be upset because that is kind of sad. I don't know if she's really wrong either, though, because i'm sure she may have her reasons, like maybe she's just really shy when it comes to those things. I don't know. But maybe you should try talking to her and tell her how you feel. Hopefully, you could work out some kind of compromise, or something, so she doesn't feel threatened but you don't feel left out in the cold.

Well it is her choice and let's face it---you are only dating---you are not going to get married--my guess is you are still school age---so she will probably warm up later on in life--if not---it is her choice. With all the issues you young people can have--this is an important one---because she has integrity and refuses to lower her standards---be nice--be honorable--it is not the end of the world. If this truly bothers you and you break off with a nice girl, you are being a bit rash and silly---and yes, immature---so just be nice and don't force the issue....thank her for the nice date, say goodbye and you will see her again. Good luck

Yes be upset with her! When your in a relationship PDA should not be a problem, I think its a little odd that its a woman your talking about here. If you were constantly all over her than i'd say she had good reason, but thats something you should be speaking to her about and resolving, otherwise your going to be a very unhappy man. Would you still stay with her if she was to continue being this way, two or three years down the track? I know that i wouldnt want to be with anyone who made me feel so bad about wanting to be with them. Find someone who will.

No, I think that I would be sad too. Have you talked to her about it? People need affection and there is something that a kiss goodbye on the street can make your heart jump.

I've seen this before... I walk by a couple leaning against the wall. The girl stares at me, like she wants me to go away so she can kiss her boyfriend. It's stupid. Why would she be so embarrased?...
Anyway, if SHE won't do it, then you do something and kiss her in front of everyone. She might not like it, but chances are she'll gradually begin to get over it. Hope it works out for you! ^^

I'm kind of the same way, but sometimes show it. but just be patient, you'll get used to it, maybe just the next time you leave just say a simple 'I love you', maybe that might make you feel a bit better, esp if she says it back.
