most likely it is the Tylenol Arthritis piil. They are red and last 8 hours so you only take 3xday at most. Most people can take a dose in the am and one at bedtime with good results since they are delayed release. The best thing though is if is not in a bottle marked Tylenol Arthritis and is given to you by someone DON'T take them. If you found them in someone elses possesion (like your teenagers) take them to the pharmacy for ID and if they cannot help go to the local police.

And what does the box say? Or the bottle? If you have neither, how can you be certain that this is Tylenol?
Ask your pharmacist. Better yet, be safe and just toss them.

What makes you think this is Tylenol? Did it come in a package or bottle marked as Tylenol? Doesn't sound like any dosage I have heard of.

They sound like the 500 mg extra strengths/ entended release... but do check with a pharmacist if you don't know where they came from!

What does the bottle say they are? If you don't have the container they came in then you shouldn't take them. They may be something else or tampered with . You never know.
