I need the number of persons who were murdered or injured with stolen guns in 2006 or 2005. Possibly along with the percent of incidents that are caused by a person weilding a stolen gun. I also need sources for the info. First one to give me with accurate statistics gets 10 points. (Sorry for any spelling errors)

The statistics you request do not exist.

In a DOJ study that surveyed convicted felons, they stated that they got 80% of their guns from friends, family, and via illegal purchases (Wright and Rossi _Armed and Considered Dangerous_ is the popular press version of their results).

Estimates of murder suggest as many as 80% of murders are committed by felons who are barred by federal law from even possessing guns.

A number of statistics that discuss gun misuse can be found in the link, which itself is heavily supported by citations to original research. You will not find precisely what you are looking for, but you will find a wealth of relevant information.

Well i have no clue the exact amount but i guess it would be very high. Generally people who are going to kill someone or use a gun for a crime like robery or whatever dont go to a gun store and buy a gun legally where it would be on record. They either steal one or buy it off the streets from someone who has stolen it.

Can't quote you acurate statistics but if I ever get my hands on the bastards who stole mine you can add them to the list of people killed with non stolen guns.
