File a police report. They might not be able to do anything, but if you don't make the report there is no hope at all.

More than likely your camera is long gone. But it wont hurt to file a report. You never know...it just might turn up.
Do you have the serial number from the unit?

Sure...go ahead. Do you have all the information on it? You also might check the pawn shops around town...they may have it since you never reported it yet.

Why report it, firstly, the cops are not going to find it, and to be honest it just generate paperwork for them.They could care less about your stupid camera.

most likely they won't find it, but if you know the serial number report it, and if it shows up at a pawn shop it is possible
