Please do not say this prophet or that prophet if it pertains to the Qu'ran as no living prophets words are in the Qu'ran. Please do not say the Qu'ran because it is revealed by Muhammad and did indeed pass form him. Is there one truth in all of Islam that does not pass through Muhammad? Just one? Is Allah subject to the word of Muhammad? Does this not mean he is weaker than Muhammad as he can not reveal one truth but that which passes through Muhammad?

Angels you believe in the prophesies of the actual prophets not smply those in the Qu'ram that Muhammad gave you? So you agree wiht the prohesies of the coming Messiah who would atone for sin and be your savior? Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

E.T. surely I ust be confusing you...As a Christian we have many sources of God's truth they come through the writings of many prophets and each porophet of God in agreement with God and the words and scripture of all the other prophet all in agreement with God...Open a Bible and see that man prophets wrote and each in agreement wiht eachother and each in agrrement with God. We do not have one prophet giving a book and in this bookmhe speaks for all of the other prophets and God....We have the books of Moses...Jerimiah.... Isiah....We have the actual words of the prophets from these prophets not from one source explaining that this is what Isiah said...but he words that God gave Isiah...You see it would be of one source if a guy named George wrote the entire Bible and said Isiah said this and Moses said that and God can only bew revealed by George and this scripture says George is a prophet of God.. and George says this is the word of God....We have only the words of George.

Onewhosubmits..First the Bible and Torah and Gospel and all of these things you claim you agree wiht except the corruptions...Which is to say we agree wiht these parts of these books that is in agreement with the Qu'ran which came from the hands of Muhammad....I think you can see my point here. oh yeah and Gabriel is an angel Muhammad got him from the book too...The Holy Spirit is a part of God and not the angel Gabriel...You guy's really should read the Bible and see where Muhammad got his ideas.

Onewhosubmits...If Allah was God would they not be in agreement? If one says Allah is the God of Abraham would Allah not understand the way God reveals his truths?
Was ever there a prophet of God who said the word is corrupt? Throughout the history of scripture is there one prophet that disagreed with any of the words of God?
Was not all the prophets of God in agreement and in agreement with God and his word? Was there ever a time when a prophet brought forth scripture that disagreed wiht previous scripture and this man is considered a prophet of God?
and the xcripture he brought tha only truth n that all previous scripture that disagreed wiht his is to be considered corrupt? Is this now or was this ever the way God revealed his truths? The answer is obvious and if this Allah does reveal truth diferent than the God of Abraham can he be the same God and if he is not the same God and says he is doesn't that make him a liar? And we all know who the liar is don't we?

Shirk, Jews for a fact do not accept Christ It is the reason we have a Gospel and Christianity...though careful study of the Torah will definitely show this truth. The reason Christ came was to fufill their prophesies. There is no Pauline permission of anything as he taught the Gospel the same as all of the prophets the difference being is the atonement and resurrection of Christ.Beings as you are the one to bring up the Nicene council it would seem to em youa re agreeing with one of my arguement that the Gospel as we have it was from to say the least 325....Consider that when you read your Qu'ran which was written after 600 Telling you to agree with the people of the book the revelation handed down and agreeing with the Gospel...How could Allah have made such a critical error? Allah taught against the crucifiction yet he tell Muslims to say to the people of the book we agree with your revelation which you agree was the cross at the time the Qu'ran was written...

Shirk...as far as changing the scope of my questions so that they would fit under the umbrella of your Qu'ran I assure you I will not...I ask my questions concerning God's truth and the Qu'ran limits this and it is my goal that some will see that there is a turht beyond the limitations of the Qu'ran and all truth was never limited to one man and the Qu'ran is simply the word of Muhammad. If your analogy of a man rammming his head against Everest is meant to be a threat I am not intimidated.

May the peace, blessings and mercy of God be upon you

I am a Muslim, and I see that you have some clear misconceptions. When you are saying Allah you are saying an Arabic word for God, this refers to the Christian Idea of "The Father". We believe solely in The Father, but we do not call him that because we reject that Jesus Son of Mary was his Son. We believe that God is one.

[005:072] Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "God is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary." But the Messiah Jesus said: "O Children of Israel! Worship God, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with God, then God has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong doers) there are no helpers.

[005:073] Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "God is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no god (none who has the right to be worshipped) but God alone. And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them.

[005:074] Will they not turn with repentance to God and ask His forgiveness? For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[005:075] The Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother Mary was a Siddîqah [i.e. she believed in the Words of God and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while God does not eat). Look how We make the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them; yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).

God is not subject to the word of Muhammad to say this would be blasphemy. Rather the word of God was revealed directly to Muhammad by the Archangel Gabriel. Whom you refer to as the Holy Spirit. The Qu'ran is the Last and Final Revealation from God until the Day of Judgment.

We as Muslims accept the Torah, Psalms and Gospel as revelation from God given to the Prophets Moses, Davin and Jesus (peace be upon them all). But we do not believe they exist in their pure unadulterated form today.

It is probably hard for you to contemplate outside the mindset you have been conditioned too. All we believe as Muslims is that

There is no god but God alone and Muhammad is his messenger

[016:093] And had God willed, He could have made you (all) one nation, but He sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. But you shall certainly be called to account for what you used to do.

Peace Be With You

his message was sent by other prophets as well. Its just that we believe the final word was written by Muhammad but that too, was the word of God. No, Allah's word is not subject to Muhammad (Pbuh). what Allah wills, Muhammad (pbuh) does. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is a servant of God as the rest of us. what do you mean he cannot reveal truth without Muhammad (pbuh)? do you expect Allah (God) to talk to people directly? its strange that you as a christian would ask this. Does the God you believe in talk to everyone directly? doesn't he use his son as you believe to spread the message? is he too weak to come down himself? i dont even understand your logic. how does God not coming to earth to say his message imply that he is weaker than MUhammad (pbuh). Do you not understand the concept of God? that he can make the world disappear or form with his will--nothing is out of his control. the truths of islam are passed through many prophets as i said before, not only Muhammad (pbuh). we believe the bible and torah to be the words of God although we believe they are not in their original form today. many of the stories match with those of the bible.

Djmantx...are you still adopting this fruitless method of dialogue. I'll ask you the same question: If Judaism which preceded Christianity denounces the trinity, and if Islam that came after Christianity denounces the trinity, and if myriads of Christians now and then disregard the tritinity and believe it to be polytheism and infidelity,...why then do you stay firm with the doctrine of the trinity? The same goes with your belief in crucifixion as the only means of salvation. Also, ther same goes with the Pauline permission to the consumption of pork, the abandoning of circumcison,...etc.

Remember that hundreds of Gospels were burnt after the Nicene Council in 325...yet still many manuscripts were found to prove the word of Islam, the authenticity of the prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH) and therefore, the proof of the Koran as the true word of God.

Have you not read about the scientific miracles in the Koran? About the hundreds of millions of Christians who accepted Islam? About Muslim-Christian debates (like those of Ahmed Deedat)? Of myriads of Christian women marrying Muslim men in order to bring Muslim children?...etc.

As I've advised you before...you need to change the strategy and tactics of your questions; for your questions are fruitless in their attempts to prove anything against Islam; save for yourself and a few Christian bigots who believe that you're questions are strong enough to extinguish the light of Islam...but in fact, what you're doing now is more like ramming your head against Mount Everest...and what happens when you ram your head against Mount Everest?!

Yes, in fact that's what took place before Muhammad's 40th birthday.

You fail to see that Muslims believe in ALL the prophets of God who have come before Islam, those of whom we know of and are attributed to Judaism and Christianity, and those that we don't know of (possibly sent to Mayans, Aztecs.. and other peoples whose buildings still stand till today, but you don't hear a single word uttered from them)...

The truth is from God, not from people. People (Messengers and Prophets), are guided by God, and simply convey this truth to their people during their lifetimes...

Muslims recognize all the prophets in the Old Testament as men of truth. We also recognize Jesus Christ as a great prophet.

mate,
I think I understand what you are saying but muhammad was a paedophile.
He was a murderer.
He was a wife swapper.

Is that what a prophet of God is really like.
