fake... the words "simulated" and "plated" can tell you that...

It's a "real" ring, in that it's a piece of jewelry that one wears on one's finger. Are the diamonds real? No, it says they're simulated which means fake or man made. The metal is gold plated, which means the gold is bonded with another, less precious, metal.

The person above me got it in one - "simulated" = "Not a real diamond".

But here is the crunch. You want to ask yourself 1: does it matter, and 2: what is a 'real' diamond anyway.

Any diamond is just a lump of super heated and crushed carbon. They can make very good diamonds in the lab now that are as real as anything dug up from the ground - and for cheaper than de-beers will flog it to you.

Don't let your heart rule your head. A diamond is a diamond so long as it is made from carbon and not plastic or glass.

simulated diamond = cubic zirconia. The difference between cubic zirconia and diamond is simple besides the price, cubic zirconia is perfect wheras diamonds are imperfect. If you were given this ring, oh take it as a symbol of your perfect love. If you were given a diamond, take it as a symbol of imperfection and love of moeny and status. Enjoy!

As for the ring, it might be real, but it's not a diamond.

simulated = pretend

plated = "covered with"

this ring is made of something other than gold, then covered with a thin layer of gold.
the stone has been created, so no, it's not a real diamond.

simulated is fake its a cheaper way to get a diamond without having to pay for the real price but it still isn't a real diamond

Fake - simulated means "not real"; and gold "plated" is not real gold.

It's not real. It's a figment of your imagination.
