Yes, shaving everyday does make your hair grow thicker and faster but only to an extent, after a certain point, it will stop getting thicker. But before shaving everyday, make sure that there actually is hair to shave, i mean, if you shave and then shave again the next day without giving time for the hair to grow back, then you'll cut yourself a lot and get rashes and stuff.

There is absolutely no evidence to say that it makes hair "grow thiker" , all you do while shaving is cutting the hair in middle of your hair string , I mean your hair thickness is related to your hair follicle type , not the way you shave.
That myth is totally wrong , it might seem thicker and that's because of razor's blades which makes cylinder like hairs (non-shaved) to cone like hairs (shaved) , which makes it looks like thicker.
and about speed ( !!? ) it's totally wrong, it doesn't change its growth speed at all.
By the way , if you shave everyday , you won't even notice what happens to your hair, but shaving everyday is not recommended because while you shave an area , you actually pick a film(thin layer) of your skin which makes it sensitive and irritated (which is related to your razor type)
in conclusion : NO

Yes it will grow faster because the razor opens the hair cuticle and it will also make it thicker and darker.
