Sing a song from a musical. If your looking for a lower pitched song, try "I'm Not That Girl", from Wicked. A really funny one, also from Wicked, is "Popular" for people with higher pitched voices. If you have a powerful voice try "Defying Gravity" or "The Wizard and I" (the 30 second sample on itunes sucks, its really an amazing song), but I would reccomend finding a friend and singing "What is This Feeling?". All these songs are from Wicked. Look it up on iTunes or buy the soundtrack. You can also get the karaoke versions on iTunes. If your looking for a song to sing in a talant show, Wicked is the way to go! Good luck :]

There are a lot of songs that you can sing. My friend sings in our talent show but she sings Alanis Morissette songs, and I don't know how those would go over at your school. Find a song that sings to you, and you'll do amazing because it's from the heart (lame, i know).

the wonderful thank you to recover from point fright is to accomplish as much as obtainable. now i'm no longer asserting you're able to hold out at a stay overall performance a week, yet attempt to generally sing for a minimum of a small objective audience. start up out only making a track on your loved ones as in many cases as obtainable. then circulate on your human beings. take earnings of each and every overall performance threat no rely how small. i've got been appearing on the grounds that i grew to become into 4, yet i grew to become into nonetheless continually apprehensive up till final year. yet at the instant, i began making a track for each individual and each little thing and now i'm very not often stricken by using performances! only bear in ideas which you're an incredible singer and tell your self which you're giving the objective audience the privilege of listening to you. i'm in center college too and that i understand that's hard on the grounds which you're petrified of what human beings will say and think of-i went in the direction of the comparable ingredient-yet only bear in ideas that performances are in step with opinion. no rely whether you're a no person or a widespread action picture star, there'll continually be people who such as you and people who do no longer. only get available and revel in making a track!!!!stable success!!!

I say that u sing something that means something too, u and shows your personality, and is really easy for others to understans, and that pushes your voice, and make th audience wow at how well you sing. It may be hard to find the song of choice, but it's easier when you already have the song in your heart.

Sing a song you really love and that you know you sound good singing. Try a few out with friends or family and get their opinions, but you make the final decision yourself.

There are songs from Aida. Actually there are a lot of Broadway shows that have solos. Sweet Charity for example (Where Am I Going is a really good solo from that). Or My Heart Will Go On. Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Not For Me from Crazy for You. The list goes on (especially coming from me.)
