Ok...I had various blenders in my lifetime...i cook and make some kick a$$ smoothies, but I have a question for you all. For those who own blenders, what's the best in your opinion? Now as far as your answers, I want to know the Name of the company, Name of the blender itself, and why it's so good in your opinion. Cheers

A blender is just a blender? Haha, funny. Anyway, serious answers only, don't waste your/my time if you're going to leave something arrogant.

The Oster Classic Beehive Blender gets my vote. It's reliable, solid, and has a cool retro chrome base. It's not very expensive, either.

KitchenAid variable speed. Or, if you can afford one, The honest to God Vega-Matic. You can make peanut butter with it, mix concrete. But it will cost you a bunch. I have both, and if I am into heavy duty crunching, the Vega-Matic comes out, but I gotta be making gallons of salsa, or have just found a deal on peanuts, and want to stock the larder with peanut butter. This thing will chew through bone. I got it from my ex wife's late aunt, and she had it for 20 years. So, first vote, KitchenAid. When it is time for the commercial grinding, Vega-Matic.
