double chin...how do i get rid of it?

i am also 5'5 and i weigh 120

I suffer from a slight double chin also.. i've been working out and exercising more since New Years, and I'm finding that the chin isn't as bad now.. exercising has seemed to tighten the skin and muscles in my body... and as a result, the double chin isn't as bad now.

I also suffer from a double chin, and being completely honest, dropping a few extra pounds always helps to get rid of SOME of it. But there is an exercise out there that is just for the double chin and you do look like a fool doing it but according to Micheal Thurmond (the personal trainer from Extreme Makeover, who has his own 6 week body makeover diet and exercise plan) its hard to describe but you relax your jaw and drop it down and then bring it up and over your top teeth (imagine what a bulldog looks like, thats kind of what it should look like when doing it) while tilting you head slightly back so you feel a little tension in your muscles in your neck. It sounds completely crazy but it does work to tone that area a bit!

Tilt your head and look up at the ceiling holding your head in that position open your mouth and keep your muscles in your throat tight and give your chin a good workout. Do this 10 times like 3 times a day and then work up to more like 20 3 times a day and so on. You should see and feel results very soon.

Other than weight loss, there is a way to sort of make it look less, you're supposed to use bronzer or a highlighter a bit darker than your skin tone under your chin and on your jawline but not too much that its noticeably darker but it should create more of an illusion of a shadow instead of there being extra skin.

Drinking lots of water and cuting back on the cokes helps a lot and of course weight lose. I've heard on tv there really isn't a work out for your chin.
