wildcat, i will only say this, you canot prove that we are wrong, therefor everything yousaid can automatically apply the other way, and for your information, ive proven TO MYSELF that god dosnt exist, an without fallacy and mis-conception, do you understand the concept of the space - time continuum? phsical determinism? quantum physics? ontology? no you dont, obviously, i do on the other hand, its profound and saddens me how closed minded and unwilling to think of possability in a coherent sensible fashion you peticular theists are, (not all! not all!!)

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, then live my life as if there isn't a God and die to find out that there is.

Your question is irrational and has no basis. Besides, if I'm dead it won't really matter any more whether I was right or wrong. It will be too late. I am never surprised by all the different ways that people try to justify themselves about not believing in God and trusting in Jesus Christ as their Savior. Doubting someone else's belief in God and attempting to make that person doubt it himself is only another way to make yourself feel better about your own guilt in not believing in Jesus as your personal Savior. Instead of worrying what I believe, I would suggest that you focus more on what you believe. Because, what if your wrong when you die? Well, I guess it won't matter any more, will it? It will be too late.
Furthermore, if everything I know about God was incorrect, then by now there would be a lot of substantial evidence to prove that God does not exist. However, the exact opposite is true. Skeptics, atheists and many others have tried for centuries to prove that God does not exist and that the Bible is not true. However, the skeptics are gone and the Bible is still here today and unchanged. And scientists of all types are continuously finding more evidence to prove that God is does exist and that the Bible is the truth.

You really don't understand what it is like to be a Christian. You think that we just convince ourselves of something that we cannot see or feel, and blindly beleive in it for no reason. I hate to disapoint you, but that is not the case. The peace that a Christian feels and the miracles that we see DO prove to us that we are right. I have seen and felt things that are completely unexplainable scientifically. Miracles do occur if we open our eyes to see them.

I pray that you and the other doubters here someday find what we have found. Jesus loves you, whether you believe it or not.

I shall not worry about it. I have spent a lot of time thinking this through and I came to this conclusion. I am an educated, intelligent woman. I stand by my decision to believe this way.

If I find out I am wrong then so be it, I did the best I could.

This question pretty much cuts to the heart of all religions. They simply don't KNOW if they have the truth. All they have to go on, in the end, is blind faith.

When you defend your belief with blind faith, you're basically saying that you follow a religion for no better reason than that you really, really want to.

Agnosticism is the way to go :)

Hmmmm...

That's what I'd say. That's your answer.

If I died and went to heaven and Hitler was there and Son of Sam was there and Charlie Manson was there and Muhammad, who had a 9 year old wife was there, I'd ask to go to hell, because at least I'd be with more HONEST people.

actually true christians do know theyre right and they know their God ... its not a matter of thinking ur right to them or hoping that a myth on the pages of a book is true ... its an actual social relationship with a being that has showed himself to them ... theres no reason to prove it to someone else and no reason to question anothers relationship with Him .. if you dont know Him its just too bad for you :) ..

I wish there was a God because if there is, fundamentalists of all faiths are going to spend eternity working at Lucifer’s Laundromat washing God and everyone else’s underwear while the rest of us are partying like wild dogs.

That is a spectacular case of denial you have.
