Ok here's the story. My friend is going out with this girl, who likes him, but he doesn't like her. He only likes her as a friend. He won't breakup with her, and is acting like he likes her when he doesn't. She doesn't know, and I don't think they should be going out because her feeling will be SOOOO hurt if she ever finds out. His problem is growing and he's afraid to break up with her. Does anyone have some advice I could give him? Please don't say I shouldn't be butting in because he's the one that told me and when she comes around he says hide me.

Thats soooo mean...um just tell him that the longer he goes out with her for the harder it will get...i realise you care for your friend but don't worry about it his problem....you'll always be there to cheer her up when he eventually does do it...he needs to just do it the kindest possible way and make sure that she knows that HE messed up not her!!

gOOD LUCK :D

Abruptly ending the relationship is the only option for him. Tell him to just end it as nicely as possible, but once she starts to try to compromise he has to just give up and end the conversation. For example, if she's begging him to stay with him after he tells her he's not into the relationship and there is no way to convince her that it's the only way, then he has to just end the conversation and leave.

I think that you are right about feeling that they shouldn't date. Not to be mean or anything. It will not only painful for her, but embarresing when she finds out that he is dating her out of pity. That is not what a relationship is about. People are suppose to seek each other and enjoy their company, not avoid them or be scared. I hope that helps :)

~~~$$$~~~Damn I hope my boyfriend is not feeling what he feeling.
Depends: if he knows that she not ready for sex. then tell him to tell her "if you don't do it with me and MY FRIENDS (guys) we are over" and she won't do it . He breaks up with her and tells her "ok well it would be nice to be a friend of yours." sometimes sex can scare girls off especially if they too young or christians or virgin.
But the whole thing is fake... If she like sex then he's on his own. *BE CAREFUL if she says ok she will do it with him and HIS FRIENDS then he can say naw I think you are too Sl*tty. ~~~%%~~~
If he is as good a friend to her as she is to him, then he should tell her NOW! If he doesn't, he's a crappy friend and keep this in mind.....what comes around goes around. How would he like it if someone did this to him. Not fun and not fair! Tell him to grow up!
