If she's married, it's adultery. Otherwise is just being unfaithful. My question is why would you want to get involved with someone with such obvious baggage? Sounds like nothing but trouble, especially if her current man has a gun. You might do better to steer clear. Besides, she is obviously willing to cheat on her current man; how long will it be before she cheats on you?
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Life is too short for this much grief.

Nope - it is not okay to pursue anything with this woman. She has a son that she needs to care for, and as a mother it is her responsibility to be there for her son. If you tempt her, you are making her job much more complicated, so mind your own business and stay out of the mix.
