Do guys take the time to be nice to a girl stick up for her in front of his friends and still say that he doesn't like her? Is this the least bit odd to anyone?

Okay me and him have been friends for 4 years. I'm always nice to him and he always returns the favor.

yes, its way normal, it usually means he wants to be just friends. Or he has a small crush and doesnt want to tell his friends.

Dont you think the world would be alot better place if everyone did that? Well, mabey this guy has realized that and he is trying to do his part. It definitely means that he likes u as a friend. Not necessarily a girlfriend though

Really odd I stand up for people I like, unless they like to make fun of people but everyone or most people do that.

Did you stop to think that he just may be a good person that could be a good friend if you would let him? Maybe you are not the kind of person he wants a romance with, but could make a good friend. Try it. Do you ever tell him THANKS?
