If you're under the limits, check out forms 1040A or 1040 EZ and the tax tables. They are available on the IRS.gov web site.

Compare the tax due to the amount withheld on your forms and that will give you a rough estimate of your refund - if any.

There is free tax prep software available on the IRS site and from www.taxact.com - among others. Unless your taxes are extremely complicated, these programs are terrific.

irs.gov has forms available on line to file and instructions. Make sure you already have all your w-w'2 and 1099, before you submit you income tax return. If all income is not provided then you will be receiving a letter that you underreported your income, and could possibly owe money to the IRS. You don't want to owe the IRS.
