Well I l;ike never wear the darn things, and the closest I can come is a girl with a pinky finger missing!

There is not a thing you can do about getting them new feet! But you can change some things for the better. OK, you can sit around wondering if you should just settle & put up with your current situation. Or ask around - what do others do?
I've met some people who can put up with so much. They are the harshest people I know. They think - if I can take it, why shouldn't everyone else, including my children? Doesn't bother me, so tough on you. Wrong attitude, I think. Sure, if someone is still moaning on about the same problem they had last year, yes, enough of that! But if you have some self-esteem, isn't it worth speaking up when things could be better for you?

We are all born from the very beginning not satisfied of our lives. So whether the weather is good or bad anyway we will always complain. Because our problems lies deeper in us. The only way we can stop complaining is when we all go back to dust.

This one doesn't go for me either, full-time barefooter here...
People complain for two reasons, just to blow off some steam (most common) and in the hopes to get something changed (more productive but there's just not enough hours in the day to get involved in every good cause).

This was my aunt's favorite saying, "I felt sorry for myself because I had no shoes until I met a man with no feet." Thank you for that memory. And that aphorism is a terrific reminder on how to look at your life!
