I want to turn a big sized closet into a place where i can take close up pictures of flowers with a black cloth background, and experiment with lighting and different effects...does anyone know of a website that can help me set up the room and teach me what i need in terms of lighting? thanks :)

DIYPhotography.net has alot of great ideas for inexpensive home studios. My husband made me a background holder out of PVC pipes from the instructions we found on that website. Hope your flowers turn out fantastic!

Seek work with a florist, garden club or agricultural catalog company. Your depth of field is a bit too short on some images....the whole flower should be in focus. Strive to find the most creative way to present a flower, whether by lighting, angle or background.

Here is a site with dozens of interesting ideas for pictures and lighting. It even has a section devoted to plants and flowers.
