In college, I attended a "white trash party". Everyone had to wear trucker's caps and flannel shirts. Each person was given a nametag with a nickname on it that was hick-sounding...like Scrapple, Billy-Ray, Possum--that sort of stuff. There was a bonfire, too.

It is probably offensive to some people, but I remember it as being very fun.

Everyone has to either talk on their cell phones or text message each other-that's the most outlandish obnoxious ridiculous thing I can imagine.

How about making fun of people who say "money is no object"? You could require people to arrive in Ferraris with their noses in
the air and a stick up their butts.

What?? You edited your question! "within reason"?!?! That takes the wind out of my joke, er, sail.

sounds like what we used to call a "come as you are party" - provide the booze and play some really stupid party games.. like pin the tail on the president, charades.. - life is a game, let the theme be games!!

Get large poster boards and have people paint their butts with paint and then press them on the poster board and you have some amazing art for your living room when it's finished. Call it Arts & Farts!
