Tell your mom!! Believe it or not she was a teenager once and just wants to know what to do next. It is in her best interest (because it is in yours) to know what's going on so that she can get you on the appropriate birth control and probably so that she can talk to you and answer any questions you may have! Although it is true that there is no way for a doctor to be sure that you are sexually active (the hymen can be broken due to tampons or strenuous sports or any number of things) and hence no way for your mom to know for sure unless you tell her, you should still talk to her, she's your mom! Don't be afraid, your mom loves you!!

First: I'm glad you used a condom. That was very, very smart.

Second: If you're afraid of your mom finding out that you did something, then you shouldn't be doing it -- a simple key to a happy life is only doing things (or avoiding doing things) so that you're always comfortable with, and proud of, what you've done.

Third: Since you used a condom, the doctor won't be able to tell with certainly whether or not you're a virgin. So, she's either deluding herself (possible, if she believes the myth) in which case the doctor will set her straight, or she's trying to scare you into admitting it.

So, what do you do?

(a) stop worrying, and accept that your actions have consequences, and you should take it like a woman instead of a girl -- and an angry mom is a much smaller consequence than a pregnancy or a disease;

(b) have an honest discussion about sex with your mother; there's more to it than "use a condom", although that's an excellent start;

(c) consider the possibility that you ARE too young to be having sex, and there are lots of other ways to have fun without penetration being involved. There's still a risk of disease and you should act accordingly, but at least the risk of pregnancy will be removed.

This is NOT good. I'm a guy & was a virgin until I was 19. Whats wrong with the world today? Cant u girls say no to these guys or better yet stay with someone the same age as you, NOT OLDER. Even a 2 yr age difference this young in life leads to the older guy being more horny than the younger girl & the girl gets pushed into this kind of stuff. So the best advice is to stop having sex or find someone younger whos not into having sex yet!

What would you want your daughter to do.Think about that,maybe then you will know how your mom feels & hopes you will act.Remember parents might be a pain,but we have your best interests at heart.Someday you might be one & be having the same circumstances as your mom.I will give you credit for using a condom,but I don't think that you should be doing what you have done.Give your mom a chance & the respect she deserves & you might get some in return.Sorry to say this but I feel that your boyfriend is just using you for a piece & it's probable all over school.

YOU ARE 13 STOP HAVING SEX. At this point in your life all it makes you is easy. He is 15 - I guarantee all he wants to do is have a little fun. You are being used and other girls will despise you for it and the guys will just see as pathetic and slutty. The worst part about this is that your mom will feel that she screwed up royally raising you. STOP IT, confess and apologize to your mom. It is going to hurt her big time, but will hurt even more is she finds out from the doctor - basically meaning you are a liar too. STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT! There is plenty of time for screwing around when you get into a serious relationship - and at least 5 more years older.

Hmmm this is a really scary time for you and not easy either. First of all you have to realize that your mother is just trying to protect her little girl. You're mom will always see you as her little girl so you have to remember she is doing it out of love. She also has a legal responsibility towards you. If the authorities find out you have been having sex underage your parents could be prosecuted and so could your boyfriend. I do not blame you for making love with your boyfriend if it feels right and is something you want and isn't being forced on you but you still have to be careful. You have two options

a) tell the truth and risk not seeing your boyfriend again

b) tell lies and if the doctor suggests you have been having sex then your mom is probably not going to let you see him again anyway

Your mom might be threatening you but may not take you to the doctor - she could just be trying to get the truth out of you!

If there is one thing in life I have learned (even if I don't like it) it's that honesty is not the best policy! I see it time and time again, people who deny it stand a chance of getting away with it and often do! Those who say I did it suffer the consequences!

So I would suggest denying it and let your mom take you to the doctors and then deny it again and again and again and with any luck your mom is bluffing and you will still be able to see your boyfriend!

I wish I could tell you that if you are honest your mom will continue to let you do what you're doing and let you see your boyfriend but I seriously doubt that.

I hope that everything works out ok.

And I wish that my life experiences allowed me to tell you that honesty is the best policy when I know it isn't.

First of all there is no way for your doctor to possitively prove that you had sex...besides your hymen breaking which can happen from every day activity. Secondly, even if your doctor did know for sure, she would not be able to tell your mom since there is doctor/patient confidentiality. Just tell your mom the truth. She is your mom and will love you no matter what. She may get mad, but she will understand eventually.

Best of luck!!

The doctor can not tell your mom anything. Ask your mom to wait in the waiting room.

I would just like to add that you and your boyfriend are both way too young to be having sex, regardless of whether you are using a condom or not.

from what i heard doctors arent allowed to say if ur having sex under the law...but idk if thats totally true. back in the day when ur mom was ur age there was no such thing as sex at 13 years old n thats probably why shes mad. im 13 also and id say that times deffinately did change between the past 20 years so sooner parents get used to kids having sex later the better it is 4 all of us

I honestly think that you probably deserve whats coming to you. Why in the world would you have sex at 13? If your mom is a decent parent she'll sort you out once and for all after she finds out - shes already made a few mistakes in letting you get this far if you ask me. You're in this mistake too deep that none of the advice you get here is going to stop whats going to happen - but next time you wont be so quick to make adult decisions will you.
