Percocet is oxycodone and is a schedule II narcotic. Loratab is hydrocodone and is a schedule III narcotic. Both are indicated for the relief of moderate to severe pain. I have used both (a different times) for broken bones and post surgery pain management. The Percocet worked better...or was stronger to use your term.

I'd say the percocet is stronger...I was prescribed that as well after my dental surgery..unfortunately my mom stole the whole bottle so I didn't get to take them :(

percocet can become addictive, don't take it. it's habit forming.
