I was dating this guy for a year and 4 months. He is now currently in college. (freshmen). and im in 10 th grade. i love him and he treats me so good. i totally know he loves me but he told me he needs personal space to himself so he can think about why he has been so upset. he dumped me.... he promised to come back to me when he is ready. we talk all the time but i cant seem to get over him one bit. it sux. What should i do about him... I dont want to let him go yet...

Darlin, you need to be strong now and let go of him completely. He is looking around and probably can't help it. He is in a whole new world and the difference in your ages will become quite apparent now until you become college age and by then it will probably be too late.
Please know that it has nothing to do with what a great girl you probably are or how much he cares for you. I would even guess he thinks he will return to you but even adults have a hard time when faced with keeping love alive living in two different worlds.
Try to learn from your time together and move on. Look within your age group for now. You have all kinds of opportunities for all kinds of love ahead of you. Look around and I bet you will see eyes on you already! All will be well soon. Promise.

I think you need to let him go. I know you dont but honestly the age difference is going to become a problem. I speak from experience when I say this. College is a different world and really it is so hard to keep up a healthy relationship. I think he probably has every good intenstion for you but I think it is better if you move on. You have so much of your life to live and there are so many other guys your age that don't have baggage. I understand you love for him but there will be more loves down the road.

This guy has no BALLS and he's stringing you along.
He should just tell you the truth - that he is moving on, but he's a coward.
When he said he'll come back to you when he is ready - what that means is when he goes through a dry spell and can't get any action anywhere else, he'll give you a ring.
Let him go and find someone more your own age.

I'm sorry to say this but it sounds like he just wants to date other people. I go to college and the number of good looking girls that attend is ridiculous, girls even outnumber the guys. If he really loves you, he'll eventually realize it and tell you and hopefully he won't have to date other girls to find out.

Girl, when u go into college you meet so many new people that you want to experience new things and new relationships.....When a guy says that to you, it literally means: I met a new girl (girls) and I want to try something with them without feeling guilty in front of you or you blaming me....Let him go!.....Anyways, when you reach college, he'll be back....(Personal experience)

you were doing good, dating for a year and four months. but yeah, just give him a little time and a little space. college is a little confusing when you first get there. but if he startes dating college girls, well...... just dont be to clingy. your doing fine, you go girl!

when my bf broke up w/ me he went out w/ my bff so your lucky. for a while my ex and i hated each other. we both just got over it i think. we broke up last Feb.
give him time. if he really loves you he'll come back

you all kno that college + boys = trouble , sex , cheating on girlfriends i would get trid of him and if he wants his personal space ,, then he is giving you hints that he is with a nother girl ,,
