What happens if you overdosed on sleeping pills and you got knocked out for about 2 hours-but you woke up afterwards-does it mean you will still die even months after the incident? I didn't do this, my friend did, and I'm really worried about her. I tried researching this, but I couldn't find much. Will you die even months after this happened if you don't go to the hospital or get it treated?

No -

The drugs are eliminated from your system.

But you should be concerned that your friend took sleeping pills?

what do you mean got knocked out? do you mean after taking the sleeping pills she fell alseep for 2 hrs then woke up? If that is the case she didn't OD. some pills have different effects on people..some will take sleeping pills and sleep for 4 to 8 hrs so sound a bomb wouldn't wake them..(I know) but once the effects have ran it's course one wakes up usually refreshed and not tired..note I said usually..So no your friend is not going to pass away now or in the future as you put it..However I would suggest she be a little careful how she uses those pills and certainly don't mix them with alcohol or drugs of any kind unless her Dr. says it's ok..Good Luck Your a good friend for tying to help her and seek out answers to help you learn more so you can help her..Hooray for you!
