A dentist can make a gap filler to insert.

A friend who had the gap had one made to use when she was working as a model.

If you go to your local drug store or grocery store, in the dental section, they should sell a temp. filling material you can put on your tooth until you go to the dentist and get a real filling. Is your tooth chipped or decayed or you just have a "gap" in your teeth, like a space? You should go get the temp. filling either way. Hope it goes well!
