I would like to find one that can translate voice into a text.

Yes. It comes from Microsoft. With Vista, it is built into the operating system. But if you have Windows XP, or Win2000, or WinNT, you can simply download and install the speech engine which will then allow you to dictate into any Windows application. You can use the default interface called: the Language Bar. However, I would recommend using the e-Speaking interface. See additional information below.

Microsoft has a good summary on their website called: "How to install and configure speech recognition in Windows XP" (see last reference below).

The combination of Microsoft's software and e-Speaking should enable you to accomplish great things with voice recognition.
