gone mad while walking around in circles in a square room, contemplating everything that has ever crossed your mind? I look at these walls and find my mind ripping itself apart, and shooting off in too many directions. I find myself trying to figure out what is going on; what 'god' is (or what that word even means); what should i do; what do i want to do; should i serve, or enjoy; and every other existential question that can be concieved... I've been a "seeker" since I was 10; now, 18 years later I find myself here and now - always in the place where I started - I know that there is some truth in that, and I have found many truths in my searching but I am not satisified, nor am I free from the desire to keep searching. Where does the searching end, or does it not end?

i've studied many religions, writings of sacred prose, philosophy, etc... where do the questions end, and understanding begins?

Know that ever more you come to understand will you realize that the mountain of knowledge and wisdom grows bigger before you. The more you open your eyes the more you see! The more there is to know. It can be no other way can it? If "it" was any different "it" could not exist!

In your minds eye seek in your imagination the visualization in the heart of the flame (use a candle if you need to get the picture) then seek an image of the sun and fly towards it... enter the sun and start to look around.

What I'm trying to help you achieve is conscious awareness of your own mind inside your mind! It is like dreaming but you are not dreaming what you see inside your mind when you are finally become aware of it will start to wake up the consciousness being you actually are!

So look into the light of your own mind and start to experience truth like you never have. Know it is not a easy, so many struggle with the mental requirements of this task it can take years but I say simply remember your imagination as a child and your picture of a sun will come, make it as real as you can.

Friend there are but two truths, birth - death, all things other than that is a rat maze called life. The best thing that a person can do is come to an understanding what is best for you during this life and work towards what would make you feel more comfortable towards the end - death. If you enjoy today and feel comfortable with tomorrow than this inner peace is the best place to be.

i sometimes feel confused too...maybe not as much as you but still. sometimes the idea of God seems too grand to comprehend other times the idea of the world becoming something out of nothingness seems ridiculous. i have pretty strong faith (muslim) but i cant deny that i have moments when the universe is too hard to understand. it makes me wonder what was the beginning. many of the answers i find through my religion it gives me peace. i hope you, however it is, find peace also

try reading about religions and dont just rely on faith but use knowledge about the world to support your faith. i cant speak for everyone but in my heart the doubt ends when i see the ways my religion agrees with the way the world is now. i dont think i could rely on blind faith. there is never going to be a clear cut answer about what the truth is, you have to find something that agrees with your heart and mind. anyway good luck

Start researching some of the various religions and philosophies out there... generally if you look long enough you'll find something that meets with your understanding of the way things go... a philosophy that makes pure sense and logic to you. It takes time... it took me 30 years to settle, so don't feel bad. Even then you still must analyze to get to the correct view.

I believe that we will ever be challenged and if you are referring to a Christian search, you will find that 'getting grounded' in the Word requires a fair amount of discipline so that we are not buffeted with every wind of false doctrine (Eph. 4:14) and stalked by the devil who paces back and forth like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8) sniffing out our weak faith positions. We are also told that it is to our benefit to keep searching the Bible, as the Bereans originally did. I firmly believe that we serve a Creator who instills creativity and intellectual spark in us as his disciples.... he will not allow us to grow bored and weary if we truly desire to know Him and to know His Truth.... it's a God-size adventure.... just don't stray into the area of the park where the quicksand is...

God bless!

The seeker will eventually be found. If you have not found all the answers you are searching for then look deeper

where does it end? when you are comfortable in your faith but you will always learn everyday until death

Well I'm glad you finally sat down at your 'puter. The search doesn't end until you are satisfied with the fact that you will never have all the answers!

I've never experienced quite that level of questioning. I was christian, but after years of soul searching I have become an atheist. Good luck to you.

I think you are more ready for a mental break from it all before you hit burnout... Ease up, then come back to it in the near future and handle it one at a time...

The search is eternal. When one question is answered, another question shows up to replace it.
