I started losing my baby teeth when I was six. However, my brother was a little later he started losing teeth at nine. It depends on the child. If the child does start late, nothing to worry about. The longer the baby teeth are in, the healthier the new adult teeth are.

6-7 years, however can be as young as 4 and as old 14...maybe even older/younger. I was done losing teeth by 11. My sister is 11 and has barely lost any. My aunt never lost them on her own and they all had to be oulled. However, I babysit a 4 year old who has lost one already. It really just depends.

It depends on the child. My daughter just lost her 1st tooth and she was 4 yrs old (almost 5). My son didn't loose his till he was 6.
Actually she was at the dentist and they noticed she had a loose tooth. THe adult tooth under it was already growing in and it was pushing the baby tooth out. The dentist said it was normal at that age...so it can be younger than 6!

It all depends on the child. My oldest child started losing teeth at about 5 and a half.
