When I read your question I hear something different I guess from what other people are hearing (I am basing this on their answers) I thought you were asking why dont we ask to be saved from God, instead of Jesus. If this is your question, then this is my answer. Jesus is God. He was the human form of God. A different angle on God if you will, or a different part of God. When I go out with my friends I am not the same Jill that I am when I am visiting my family for instance. So accepting Jesus is also accepting God. Supposedly no living person can look on God and still be alive. So he had to send part of himself to earth in human form in order to fully interact with humans. Also, if the sacrifice was always his plan, only humans can die, so again God needed to make part of himself human, thus we have Jesus as our savior.

Because Jesus is the Loving Bridge to God. With out Jesus, we would be alienated from God, Hence, This is why Jesus came to earth to restore man back to God the Father.

What did we have before Jesus? Adam and Eve. Eve was the first to alienate themselves from God. In the Old Testaments it was the Prophets who came to God and interacted between God and the people.

With the birth of Jesus, and in acknowledging Him as our savior we now can come directly to God in prayer and conversation...thank you Jesus!!!!

I believe that accepting Jesus means accepting the teachings of Jesus. If you live your live as Jesus would have, you can go to heaven even if you never heard of him.

Theory #2. If Jews are the chosen people then maybe only Jews need Jesus to go to heaven. The rest of us are good without.

All you have to do is read the word it is very explanitory. God doesn't offer an excuse. He boldly stated His case thousands of years ago and He has not changed His mind one bit. God changes not. He is immutable or unchangeable. He is exact and He alone is perfect in everyway. He is perfection. The reason all things are possible is because God is able to change man and help Him get on the right track. God will not change but man must change.

that is out of context, all things are possible to god within his nature and character. for instance, it is not possible for god to tell a lie.
about man being saved, man was created in innocence and paradise, there is a saying , love is a theory until tested, when man sinned against god, god sent his son jesus to be the sacrifice so that through jesus man could be redeemed to god from our sins.

you are asking a question from the bible, so i am going to answer this using the bible, unlike you other retards who give your opinion.
ok, all things are possible WITH GOD
you can't get into heaven WITHOUT GOD.
and don't try to argue that with me. He is asking from a christian perspective so don't talk about "other" heavens.
Jesus said in John 14: 6
"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER (God, in heaven) BUT THROUGH ME."
I really can't make it any clearer.

Some things are impossible for God. For instance, it is impossible for him to lie, die, cheat, be disloyal. It is also impossible for him to ignore his own righteous standards or violate his own law. Standards are involved in our salvation and so is justice - a part of his law. Because this is so, certain criteria must be met in order to attain to salvation. Part of that criteria is to accept the means of salvation he has put in place. We know him as Jesus Christ.

Because that is the way God (capital G is correct please!) made salvation possible.
The verse stating "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." was in answer to the rich young ruler asking what HE must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus following statement in context makes more sense than when it's isolated; " 23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."
God can help a man's heart to be willing to forsake all and take up his cross and follow Him and to give a rich man the grace to trust in Christ more than in riches or mammon. He gives us grace to trust in Him more everyday and to every man a measure of faith. So ultimately all things are possible but God will not contradict Himself or lie. His plan of salvation is sufficient for all men. Anyone who tries to go to heaven any other way than through the door which is Jesus Christ, the same is a thief and a robber. Jesus Christ being the only mediator between God and man and the only offering for our sins, you have to have His blood atonement and Him for your High Priest before God's throne to be accepted.

only salvation is possible with God.

Scripture says salvation is a gift from God, yet many choose not to take it.
God made it easier to be saved by His Son, Jesus.

All things are possible.
