that we all have soulmates and must find that missing link.

Meaning, when Adam's rib was taken out to form Eve who became his helpmate.

Now, my question is what if we don't find our soulmate, does that mean we have not prayed, or asked God for a soulmate into our lives?

it doesn't say we have helpmates, it says a woman is our helpmate.
if you want to stay single then stay single, but if you want to marry then marry.

you are confusing the word "helpmate" with "soulmate".

I beleive that God has a person in mind for you. It takes patience and it is easy to jump ahead of him and make a mistake. However, if you wait on him he will bring the right person into your life.

I think you are misinterpreting the Eve coming from Adam's rib thing. I don not believe that bible says we all have a soul mate. So, if we don't find our soul mate it does not mean that we haven't prayed or asked God for a soul mate. It may mean that we haven't met the person yet or for whatever reason passed the person by IF you believe in only one person can be a soul mate. I don't believe in the traditional term of the word but I do think we meet a lot of people who fill our souls.

no that is not in the bible about a soulmate, i think it is just a slang cultural term. the bible says some are to be married some to be single and some single because of their devotion to god. you dont have to get married like many people now want to pressure people into doing, but then again there is nothing wrong with getting married , just follow the lords leading and focus on him.

I suppose it could mean that.... or it could mean that our soulmate is not receptive to our request, I suppose, or that our soulmate lives in China or that our soulmate is currently only 7 years old. I'm not sure about such a literal rendering. Paul actually advised people not to marry if they were planning to do ministry, so does that mean they spurn possible soulmates? hmm

Did you remove your rib before or after you prayed?

You need to remove it first, saving the blood in a brass or silver bowl as a later offering. Make sure it is the lowest rib and make sure it is from the left side which is your heart's side.

Once you've removed the rib, close the wound and take a ritual bath. Then pray for your soulmate to come into your life. Your prayer should be made while you are kneeling with the bowl of blood between your knees and the rib grasped in your hands.

After your soulmate appears, she should reinsert your rib during the wedding reception, just prior to cutting the cake.

Peace out.

Wait, I just noticed you changed it to helpmate. In that case you want the rib from the right side, not the left.

Not because something is written in the bible means that it is true. Unicorns are mentioned in there.

There are many soulmates out there for us not just 1 so there are people who you will share that connection with as 'that' person. All that really counts is that you can be your total self around that person, they can be their total self around you and the both of you can appreciate one another for that.
