My best friend says she does, I say that's nasty. Thought I'd ask for feedback on this to settle this debate.

Fact--unless you have a bladder infection, urine is STERILE when it first leaves the bladder. The sound of the shower running has a tendency to trigger the whole "pee" thing. I never even think about it, if you need to pee, pee. It washes right down just like all the funky sweat and dirt you are washing from your body. What's the big deal?

Peeing in the shower is actually a good way to prevent and cure athlete's foot.
Human urine contains urea, which is already used in many over-the-counter athlete’s foot remedies.
So, it's not that bad. Make sure you rinse out the shower when you're done.

In my family we distinguish between two types of people: Those who pee in the shower and those who would never countenance it. I should say "nevah think of it" (said in haughty tone with nose in air).
Besides, pee is sterile! I'll bet less sterile stuff than her pee comes out of your mouth or nose in the shower. And it most places to goes to the same water treatment plants in the same pipes.
At least you said, "when you are taking a shower" cause it's a whole other question to wonder who pees in the shower when they're not taking one. Or if someone else is taking one.

I agree with Benjamin. Everyone does it it's just a matter of admitting it. I pee in the shower. There is something about a nice hot shower.MMM! LOL

I usually do it at the beginning of the shower. It washes off anyway. There are nastier things people do than to pee in the shower.

a lot of people pee in the shower, it not nasty because you are showering, now if you were taking a bath and you pee'd in the tub now that is nasty

Pee is almost 100% water, and it goes right down the drain. Peeing in the shower is harmless.

And yes, when I am having a shower, as peeing on my tinea, or whatever other grotty little fungus it is, kills it.
