It's time for "How Witchcraft Works 101". :-)

The theory behind the practice of witchcraft (at least as I was taught it in my Alexandrian Wiccan training) is that the universe is a machine where all the parts are connected by Divine energy. For us, God/dess is not "out there" somewhere -- it is in the earth, the trees, the clouds, the food we eat, the very air we breathe. When a Wiccan witch works magic, they are touching the very soul of the Divine and working with God/dess to affect a change in the world. (Therefore the Christian contention that we are "working with the Devil" is, from our point of view, nonsensical: we are, in performing magic, both praying to the supreme life-force that animates the universe and exercising self-determination. Satan has no place in our cosmology: all power flows from the God and the Goddess. Some Wiccans believe that all Gods are aspects of one God, and from that perspective the Wiccan is working with the same source from which the Christian God Himself springs.)

All Wiccan witches are bound by the Wiccan Rede, which states: "An ye harm none, do what ye will." Therefore we cannot cast spells which bring harm to others, although some Wiccan scholars contend that the Rede allows us to work magic in self-defense if we or those we love are threatened. But that's a much bigger discussion than space permits.

Be careful. Magic is not something to be toyed with. It is a process of setting energies in motion, and whatever you do will come back upon you. Also, magic is literal: if you ask for $2000 to pay a bill without carefully qualifying how you want that to come about, you might suddenly find yourself with a beloved dead aunt who happened to leave you exactly that amount of money. Magic is also virtually impossible without cultivating the technique of focussing your intent. This is something that it takes most people many months, or even years, to properly master. The upshot of this is that if you're doing magic "just once" or taking it lightly, it will probably either (a) not work at all, or (b) backlash on you badly.

The skillful witch uses magic as a last resort, when all practical attempts to solve the problem have failed. Make sure that you have exhausted the other possibilities before you start casting spells, if you choose to use magic at all!

Best of luck to you on your path.

it depends what u mean by witchcraft. if u want info on ACTUAL witchcraft, go to www.witchvox.com. spells are actually a minor part of witchcraft (by which i mean Wicca). it also depends on what kind of spells u wanna do. u should NEVER do a spell that controls or curses another person. this is unethical. u should also b willing 2 do the hard work cuz spells r more than throwing a few item together & chanting some words. it takes a lifetime to master witchcraft. when u know the meaning of this word u will b on the right track: intent.

Yes, I can offer help with spellCraft. Feel free to message me.

Here's a common example.

Yes, Love spells (attracting Love) do work.

But anything to "Make" them love you, won't work in the long run.

Try this instead.

For those of you who wanted a Love spell,

You need:
A pink candle
a Pen
a piece of paper.

Write your name on the candle with the pen. Lick your thumb and wipe it over your name to seal your intent.

Make a list of the qualities you want in a perfect mate.

Light the candle and place the list under your candle and Light.
(please use common sense when working with FIRE.)

Are you looking at Wiccan witchcraft, or non-Wiccan witchcraft? There is a serious difference between the two.

Here you go child, this is the ONLY "spell" you will ever need;
Dear LORD JESUS, I give my life to you and confess that without You I am lost and bound for Hell. Please come into my heart and save me and be my LORD.
Hun, spells are a hoax of the devil. They aren't going to get you anywhere but down.

yes there is. and most that do, will need to know you very wel before they will help you write spells and such.

you need to do a lot of reading, and even more research into Pagan religions and traditions. and into natural energy manipulation.
