There is a guy at work (in a restaurant). He's pretty shy around me. I think that he finds it difficult to talk to me. Like the other day, no other co-workers were around except for me and him... he walked past me and lingered for a while (like he's thinking) before asking me about school (we're both college students). He often comments on how smart I am.
He also stares at me a lot and whenever I look his direction, he looks away or looks at something else that's in my direction.
He's really nice to me-- but in a modest way. He does little things to make my job easier. The thing is that I kind of like him too and I don't know if this is clouding my judgement.

Just be friends with him. You should also go talk with him too. Don't have to be so shy. Go up to him and talk anything.

If you're interested in him, and it sounds like you are, ask him out.
