don't think so, Iran is not Iraq, Iran can fight. they would need 10 times the troops to take Iran than they did Iraq.

honestly Iran wont be as big of a problem as lets say North Korea, for one we already have troops on ground on both there west and east borders (Afghanistan and Iraq) we also have reinforcements in such countries as Kuwait Qatar and so on that we can pull into the region. 52% of our armed forces havn't even been deployed in this war b/c America still wants a strong well rested defensive Army. If we go to war with Iran, manpower and technology wont be an issue, but the economy will definately take a blow, unlike in the old days where wars generated more income it actually causes a deficit nowadays. Funding the war would be more difficult, but actual manpower wont be.

No, we aren't going to be just fighting Iran, Syria, Arabia, And all the other countries that Bush has made hate us. We are going to get our country looking just like Iraq. We have a crazy President & Vice President that only want war they don't care how many are killed. We are losing in Iraq , how are we going to fight any other country, out troops are weak, tired , their minds are almost all gone. We need to impeach Bush, Cheney& Rice before we are hit by the atomic bomb. You can let Bush lead you own but he isn't leading me on, he is nuts and so is Cheney both War Criminals.

Absolutely! The United States could rule everything. The only thing we need to do is keep the Media and Politicians out of the way. We could easily win in the middle east if the President would hand the mission over to the Joint Chiefs with one order: "Win the war". It would be over in less than 45 days and GW could concentrate on mending fences and domestic policy.

You have heard wrong about recruiting. For 2006 EVERY branch met their goals.
We could go to war with Iran and win, but it would be better to wait until we have fewer troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

No absoultley not, we have a need for more troops in afghanistan because of the taliban's remergance and the botched job to instill ago vernment. We have trops in iraq who have overstayed their terms and the american peoples morale is very low as is faith in the president. I personally beielve we should have went into iran in the first place instead of iraq but at this point we dfenitley do not have the manpower to do so.

We would be able to muster the troops necessary for a mop up operation, if it came to that. The unfortunate thing for Iran if we were to attack is that we would probably resort to using missile and air power rather than troop strength. This would make it an entirely different war than what we have in Iraq, and hopefully one that would see the enemy capitulate, quickly.
I think to, that the selective service would be more than happy to activate, in order to have more boots on the ground!

No we do not. Especially if the great bear from the north gets involved. We are not indestructable. Our high tech military has
not been able to defeat people living in tents.
Don't get me wrong. We probably have the greatest fighting force on the planet. But when you can't see the enemy it is hard to kill them. Could we march into Tehran and take over the city. Hell yes. But that would not be the end of it. We would be there for a eternity.

i asume by "we" you mean the americans. beleive it or not, other countries use yahoo too. anyways. man power is not the issue. american lacks the morale and money to go into another war. you are already trillions in debt, and its unlikely that that will ever get payed off. Also, morale is low in Iraq, so the country would nto let you invade Iran.
