Question in regards Microsoft Office 2003 Word?

I am doing this thing, where we got to show some of the stuff we learned. We have to write at least 3 pages. Now part of it she wants to have a totally different left and right margin. NOw she told me that all i had to do was highlight that part and then the rest should stay at the original margins. But it is not working. How can i have part of the document one set of margins and another part the other margin setting?

There are a couple of things depending on what you want to change margins on.

If you want new margins for a new PAGE, you is click "insert Page Break" - the type of break will be SECTION break. Because you're in a different section you will have the opportunity of creating a new format for the new section (change your margins).

IF she wants different margins in a paragraph within a page, important to View your ruler - Highlight your area, and look at your ruler. Click on the SQUARE where the margins are and move it 1/2 inch on the right and left to change the margins.
