Yep, it's possible. It's possible to be 8¾ months pregnant and not know a thing. Your home pregnancy test might be less efficiant. Are you using the kind that says 99% accurate? You might be the 1% lol

I have been 5or6 months pregnaunt with my first born. I had missed my cycle many times and every month i went to the Dr. and my preg. test came back neg. By the 5th month i asked for a blood test and it still was neg. Well at my 6th month i was feeling the same inside fellings as you and i went back again, and, "finally" it was possitive. Needless to say it was an un-expected pregnancy, but abortion was out of the quesiton. I do not regret any of it!! If you are at a young age 25, there are many resources for you out there.

Go to the doctor. Home pregnancy tests are sometimes not accurate. YES it is possible to not know you are pregnant. My mom knows a lady that went full term without knowing and didn't go to the hospital until she was having really bad stomach pains (labor) and her water didn't break until she was in the hospital. But yes, it is possible.

The hcg hormone would show up by then so i don't think you would be 5 months along and have a negative pregnancy test unless you took it wrong or diluted it wiht water or something. i did not knwo i preggers until i was 3 months or that's when i tok a pregnancy test before that i just think i was in denial

It is very easy for people to be judgmental and say things like "How could you not know?" but there are medical conditions that can mimic pregnancy. I would contact your doctor, your local clinic, or planned parenthood and get a blood test to be sure - especially with the increase in abdominal size. A swollen abdomen can be indicative of other problems like cirrhosis (liver disease), ascites (fluid built up in the abdomen that has to be drained off by a doctor), or cancer (which can cause ascites, or a large tumor can expand the abdomen by itself).
Denial is very common among women who don't WANT to be pregnant, or don't want to believe it. Please get checked out, for your health and ease of mind.

Yeah, usually it's called "denial", but you need to get yourself to a gynocologist!! Sounds like some hormonal things are keeping the test from being positive. You must be the 1% the test doesn't test for (if they're 99% accurate). Good luck!

It is possible to not know...but if you suspect you are, you should call your Dr. Most of the time, the home test will work... I have heard of women having "false pregnancies" where they gain weight and stop having periods, etc,... but no baby is born.
You should call a Dr.

It's possible. You don't really feel anything until about that time, and some overweight people might not show much physically. Some people CLAIM to not have known they were pregnant until they gave birth in a Wal-Mart bathroom. True story.
