me my boyfriend and his friend (that is a girl) snuck into a party(with mostly black people in it). we lost my boyfriend and were trying to find him. the person who was throwing the party noticed us and dragged us into a room. he took his gun out and was about to shoot her but before he did i pushed her and i got shot in the lung. i only did it cuz my bf cared for her.was it the right thing to do????

hey trish does it really matter that most of the party goers were black. i'm sorry that you were shot, but the fact that you were in someone's home illeagally is an issue as well. you can't just go in other people homes and not suffer the consequences that occur. would it had mattered if they were the same race as you?. people are different and while that behavior maybe acceptable where you come from, as you very well found out it can get you shot and believe me i'm not making light of what happened to you. ,you have to be careful when sneaking into places you're invited to. but it was noble of you to think of your friend and not yourself . i am happy that you are both alive,but you need to be careful how you word things because words and actions do breed hatred among people.. word to the wise only go to parties where you know the people and are invited. take care.

You were crashing a party and got shot?! I think your desicion in putting yourself in that position is wrong. How do you blend into a place where you stick out like a, well, like white kids at a black party?
It sucks that you got shot but you can't be a martyr for putting yourself in that situation.
Two questions for you: 1) Does your bf smoke rock?
2) What was going (or about to go)
on in that back room?

It was the right thing to do to save your friend but how friendly is your boyfriend and this girl. Next time you should think about things before you decide to crash a party, research your options a little better.

Yea, I especially love how you said (mostly blacks) as if only blacks carry guns. You just showed your true colors there. And, if you were shot in the lung you would most likely be dead. Nice try though.

wow are you brave but ya i thin that it weas the right thing to do. I wouldn't want to get shot but if it wasn't you then it would be both of you. I would be very freeked out and kick him in the balls. Try not to sneek into any parties ever again.

It would probably be a good thing for you to make decisions based on what you think you should do and what you think is right not what your boyfriend thinks or what anyone here thinks. It's important to live by your own values and beliefs. Good luck.
