I thought that t everyone knew that siblings don't marry. Talk about "keep it in the family." I saw a progam the other day on MSNBC about a man who had a baby by his sister whom he raped. The two were grown at the time, though. It's sick. I know siblings married back in the day,but population has to amplify the world, but that was then.
Still how does a man get aroused for someone who was raised with? I can't see it. I think that my father is a cute a puppy and that's as far as it goes. Sometimes I even give him a pat on the head.

Genesis 4:17 says, "Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch." Who was his wife? It is implied in the biblical text that Cain married one of his sisters. Several facts lead us to this conclusion.
First, it is clear that Adam and Eve had a number of children. Genesis 5:4 says, "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." Since Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, and since God had commanded them (and their descendants) to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28), it seems reasonable to conclude that Cain married one of his many sisters. It is also possible that he married a niece or even a grandniece.
One must keep in mind that in the early years of the human race there were no genetic defects that had yet developed as a result of the fall of man. By the time of Abraham, God had not yet declared this kind of marriage to be contrary to His will (see Genesis 20:12). Laws governing incest apparently did not become enacted until the time of Moses (Lev 18:7-17; 20:11,12,14,17,20,21). Hence, there was no prohibition regarding marrying a sister (or niece or grandniece) in the days of Cain.

Adam and Eve's children would have had to reproduce with each other in order to create the rest of existence, regardless of whether they loved one another or not.

If you are asking about whether or not siblings in today's society can marry...people would definately look down on that, just as they do on cousins who want to marry.
"Even if siblings stipulate that they will never have intercourse, and that they feel no desire for each other, the law will not grant them a marriage"

If you read "Wasteland" by Francesca Lia Block: the story tells of a brother and sister who love each other. The end has two unexpected things. But the book shows how they feel there is nothing wrong with it, but other people would. It is beautiful.

They married siblings. But you have to remember how very close they were to original creation. No time for sin to "mess up" their DNA or applicative errors to creep in because of sin. They had a protection that we do not enjoy today. God made that very clear when He gave the Law prohibiting such close marriages. The gene pool that far down from original creation could not have survived.

NO. eeew!! Siblings cannot marry each other today. During the days of Adam and Eve, it was OK back then to marry your siblings because they were still close to "perfection" --- blood was still pure. It was different back then. Today, obviously, we are far from perfection!

they where probably the first but i dont think they where the ONLY humans alive...

Genesis 1:26
"Then God said 'Let us make human beings in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
Genesis 1:27
"So God created human beings in His own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."
Genesis 1:28
"God Blessed them and said to them, 'Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

The Bible speaks of Adam and Eve after that...Read the first few pages of Genesis and see for yourself.

They married their sisters. Adam(PBUH*) and Eve had more kids than just Cain, Able, and Seth. But this isn't in the Christian Bible because the Catholics banned the true book of Adam(PBUH*) and Eve from the Bible.

They married there siblings. Kane and Abel both where born with twin sisters and each married the others twin sister. Doesn't everyone know that?????
This was different to marrying a sibling today. The blood line was pure then it is not now.

Presumably they didn't get married as there was no formal religion at that point and God just made some more people from clay till there were enough to build a nice chapel to get married in?
