Well, sure! Lots of times. Sober and less sober. Mostly sober, believe it or not. Easier not to fall down or bump into people that way.
I've polka'd at street fairs, waltzed on bridges and danced contras in the streeets on Neighborhood Night Out parties, danced cajun and zydeco in the streets of New Orleans and salsa outside the Latin club that was across the street from my apartment. And done a spontaneous swing dance or two at outdoor art shows between the booths in the street.
Of course, my friends and I are a little nuts. We started waltzing in public places about two years ago. We just show up in some cool place, waltz and go home - we call them Flash Dances, in honor of "Flash Mobs".

every year in Aug on Manitoulin Island there is a festival called Haw Fest...the festival attracts thousands of tourists every year...at the end of Haw Fest they have a huge street dance and fire works...Its a blast!...but one time I was taking a walk with my 11 year old daughter and my new son 2 months old...we were walking along talking when a car drove by with stereo blasting one of my fav songs all of a sudden I grabbed my daughter by the hands and started dancing right there in the middle if the street, my daughter was totally embarrassed and refused to walk with me down town anymore...once in awhile I bring it up just to see if he reaction would change any...well she can finally laugh about it...lol

no but in a restraunt i once made a bet with friends that i would get up in the isle and start making chicken noises as loud a i could until someone asked me to sit down for the workers it was about 3 minutes before someone came up HILARIOUS easiest 50$ ever made LOL

Last week at the George Strait concert with my friends. No I was not sober. I had way too much Tequila and Budweiser. :)
