If 1 girl likes you, are you more appealing to other girls?

This 1 girl likes me, and now her friend, who was never that nice to me, all of a sudden seems interested. Do girls find you more attractive if other girls dig you?

I find it the biggest turn off ever. I WILL take no for an answer. And I'm not competitive, so as soon as I know that another girl is interested in a guy I think is cute, I back right off.
Also - a guy telling you that other girls are into him comes across as so arrogrant and so player. Yuck.
