First of all, I want to commend you on recognizing these feelings. This is really important. It may seem like no one can ever empathize with how you are feeling, but talking to a therapist really helps. They can help you decide if these thoughts are healthy or not. Being sad isn't always bad, but being sad all the time isn't healthy.
I suggest talking to your parents or a trusted adult about seeing a therapist or counselor to clear up your questions.
Also, have you considered doing a sport, yoga, or taking walks? Light exercise can help release serotonin, one of the hormones that is involved in feelings of happiness. If you're feeling sad, you typically want to lay around in bed. Instead, try going for a walk or dance to your favorite music. Take a class or join a sport. It helps a lot.

Many people have bad pasts and no one ever totally forgets it BUT
If you live your life looking in the rear view mirror, you never get to live the good life in front of you.
Mostly live life by looking through the windshield to the road ahead, to the future, and promise yourself to make it way better than your past.
It is OK, to occasionally look in the rear view mirror and be sad, but do not waste your life by doing it too much.
All the time you spend on the rear view mirror is time completely lost from your current real life.
You deserve to live the good forward life .

So do I! It's horrible. But my bad events are extremely small things that happened in the past, like copying someone's idea, and then they saw it, but they didn't even seem offended. When I think of those, it's so depressing, and for no reason! I just think of the "best-is-yet-to-come" positives. I try to slow down and try not to think about it.
Don't worry, be happy.
