I am not surprised that your computer is running slow,
for limewire and bearshare are full of spyware and adware, you should remove limewire and run your anti-virus software to remove any infections, once limewire is removed your computer should operate a lot faster then at the present. good luck

you should remove limewire any way, the reason your pc is running slow is probably down to all the viruses limewire has dropped on your system

run a check for viruses that's guaranteed to slow down your computer. lime-wire doesn't affect it unless you have downloaded stuff full of viruses. always use a virus checker before opening files downloaded from the net.

Your computer may just have soooo much un used information on it that its struggling to maintain speed. I shall provide a link to a program which loooks for things like this and deletes them. (Scan may take up to 30 mins)
