Josephus, a Jewish historian, mentioned Jesus in his writings toward the end of the first century C.E., roughly 60 years after Jesus' death.
As a non-Christian, Josephus would have no reason to accept the historical reality of Jesus unless there was some sound basis for it.
In one of his works, Josephus discusses disturbances that were caused by the Jews during the time Pontius Pilate was governor of the region of Judea (26-36 C.E,) The disturbance centered around a man named Jesuss and his followers, Josephus identifies Jesus as "a wise man....a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of men who received the truth with pleasure," and he notes that Jesus was later condemned by Pilate to crucifixion. While this mention of Jesu does not suggest that Josephus himself accepted Jesus or the claim made about Jesus by his followers, it does seem clear that Josephus recognized Jesus to be a historical person who had a profound impact on the people he encountered.
Read also about Tacitus, a Roman historian.....Pliny the Younger another Roman source and Suetonius a Roman historian and lawyer.
All these writers prove the historical existence of Jesus......rather than biblical sources.

unfortantly you will.
as jesus quoted "i am the way and the truth and the life no one comes to the father except through me". John 14:6
what it means is no matter who u believe in or how much u do good you cannot and will not go to heaven unless u know jesus.
now i can go on for a long time with that question but and helping u understand it even more but i am just going to let you read the bible. now if you are a beginer you might want to read the NIV version of the bible it is easier to understand. but still pay really close attetion because not everything is what it say it is. it means a whole totally different thing some times so watch out and good luck.

I am a Christian, and I am willing to give you some information on the Bible and what Jesus says. The Bible consists of 66 books written by 40 authors. God told each author exactly what to write. The Bible says "Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me."" (John 14:6). To actually know Him you must believe that God sent his son, Jesus, to die for our sins. Once you truly believe that, and truly believe in God, all you have to do is pray to God, and tell Him how you feel, and that you wish for Him to come into your life. Once you have done that, you may not feel different but God will be guiding you. Even if you stray from Him later in life, all you have to do, is ask Him for your forgiveness, and He will come back into your life. He does not leave you. If you have anymore questions, you can ask on here and I will try to help you if possible, or other people will also help you. I understand that you do not have a Bible, but you can go to google.com and type in The Bible, and there will be many sites that you can go to that will give you online scriptures. There are also several yahoo groups that will help you out. I am also willing to help you if you wish. I plan to create my own yahoo group and website to help you and others find God, and continue your journey with Him. I wish you luck and don't forget to ask your questions, I am always willing to help.

hello Messenger, I'am pretty sure there are many Muslims who feel the exact way that you do but are too intimidated to ask questions among their fellow Muslims. Unfortunately Islam believes that Jesus is only a prophet, which is quite mistaken. The bible says that Jesus Christ is the Savior of mankind. But don't take my word for it. Even though it's diifficult for you do everything you can to take hold of the bible, even if its just the New Testament part. If you do get a hold of one I highly recomend that you start by reading the Gospel of John. By reading that part you will know clearly who Jesus Christ is. My heart goes out to people who are in difficults setting such as yourself. May God bless you and may He illuminate the path He has for your life.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus is God incarnate. He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life. He suffered for us and was crucified and the penalty for the sin that separates us from God was laid on him. He was resurrected from the grave and ascended up into heaven and he is coming back as judge to this world. The world will be destroyed and a new heavens and a new earth will be created wherein dwelleth righteousness.
When we pray to God in the name of Jesus, telling him that we know we are a sinner and that we believe Jesus paid the penalty for our sin on the cross, and asking that he come in and abide in our heart, then he hears us and he will send the Holy Spirit to live in our heart.
You can read the King James bible online. If you want to IM me we can talk more about him.

Jesus is in fact the Son of God who is your only one to be saved. We believe as the Bible teaches that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died to be the final sacrifice to forgive our sins. These facts are being kept from you because of Arab pride. They cannot tolerate the fact that the Son of God was born a Jew. (people they hate)
What is wrong inside you is that you are not able to serve God or love God because you are being kept from his truth. When you are old enough, move to a western country where you can be free. Until then, you can always read the Bible online and if your family says anything you can tell them youre just trying to prove us wrong by our own books.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." -John 3:36

Well, the Koran also speaks about Esa. I am sure your parents will let you read about it in the Koran.
The Message of Esa the Christ was Sacrifice. It means that you have to try to be less self-centered but rather try to help others. "How can I help others?" In a community you have to sacrifice in order for the community to prosper. If everybody takes and nobody gives the community will not last long.
That is the essense of the Message of Esa the Christ. He said of course much more but the essence you just read.
All religions are from God and are part of the whole truth

Jesus said "Seek; and you shall find. Knock, and it shall be opened to you." If you seek Jesus, then he won't turn you away. The Bible says that Jesus is the only way to God.
Because of Adam's fall, all of humanity is born in sin, and shaped in iniquity, as the Bible says. This makes us all inherently sinners, unworthy to approach God. Jesus, the Son of God, changed all this, though, by offering himself as a sinless sacrifice to atone for the sins of humanity. Because of this, only through Jesus can one be cleansed of all sin and therefore saved.
Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Light," and, because of that, no one can go to the Father but by Him. Jesus is the only way to be saved.
Being saved is easy, though. All you have to do is genuinely repent before God. This means that you confess your sins before Him and say that you're really sorry. Then, sometime in the future, you must get baptized by immersing yourself in water and coming out again. You can find a pastor to do this.
As for now, you can get a Bible and begin reading from the beginning. You can also talk to God more frequently and ask Him for guidance through prayer. These two things are important for spiritual growth.
As for a Bible, you can go to BibleGateway.com, and choose the King James Version to read from, while comparing it side-by-side with another, more modern version. For a better Bible, though, you can go to e-Sword.com and download the e-Sword Bible, which I highly recommend. It's got many different versions of the Bible, along with Strong's references and commentaries with every passage. You should try to find a way to hide it on the computer from your parents, though.
May God bless you, and may He direct your steps along the right path in the search for the Truth.

As a Muslim, I'm sure that you respect Jesus' mother Mary. Jesus gave his mother to be our Mother too. She also revealed herself to the world more than a 100 years ago in Fatima, Portugal - I don't believe that this is a coincidence! I suggest that you seek her assistance in showing you her Son more fully. I am certain that you are aware of the consequences if you decide to follow Jesus, so take it slowly and carefully. It will take if that is what you decide. I would suggest that you read the book of John, it is the 4th book of the New Testament. One of the things that you will see different from Islam is that God (Allah) is also revealed as our Heavenly Father, who personally cares about you.
