Here's what I do with pork chops. Make sure they are defrosted, then on a plate, mix up flour, salt or seasoning salt, a little pepper, a shake of garlic powder and some italian seasoning. If you don't have italian seasoning, use either thyme, rosemary or oragano. Mix all that together and then coat the pork chops with this, both sides. Place in a dish lined with tinfoil, bake at 450 for a half hour. Make sure they are cooked all the way through!!! Someone said to leave them pink, but pork can make you really sick if it isn't cooked all the way through, to white. I usually put it with either stuffing (stove top) or a salad and some steamed carrots.

Take pork chops out of fridge and allow to stand at room temperature for 20-30 minutes. Season with a rub of choice (or salt and pepper to taste).

Start a medium fire on the grill.

Lightly coat chops with grilling spray (such as Pam for Grilling) just before grilling.

Grill according to the instructions from the cookout calculator at charcoalbob.com for bone-in pork chop. (Enter the thickness, desired doneness, etc. It will calculate the grilling time).

After grilling, allow pork chops to rest for about five minutes. Put a little of your favorite barbecue sauce in small bowls and use as a dip (as you would shrimp sauce) for each delicious bite.

We did this just last night for dinner. Yumm!

Rosemary Pork Chops

6 x pork chops
1 x 500ml fresh cream (a little over one pint)
4 or 5 fresh rosemary sprigs

Place pork chops or fillets in an oven dish, cover with cream, and place rosemary on top. Cover dish with tin foil and bake in a slow oven at 150 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for another hour until chops cooked and you are left with a creamy sauce, very delicious with baked potato and salad or fresh asparagus.

fry the chops on a high heat to just seal them, place in oven proof dish, peel and core a cooking apple, slice it over the chops, make a thin gravy, pour over, sprinkle some dried taragon over, cover and cook in oven for 1 hour approx. plate the chops and thicken gravy, fantastic and easy, plus u can have a drink while there cooking, preferrabaly guinness.and loads off it. now this has to be the best recipe.

Take a baking dish and cover the bottom with saurkraut. Put the pork chops on top of that and cover the whole thing with a box of Stove Top stuffing (already made). Cover and bake at 350 for about 30-45 min. If you dont like saurkraut, corn work too. Or you can just marinate them for 20-30 min and grill. Marinades: Dale's, pineapple juice with ginger and a dash of clove, BBQ sauce.

Marinade in lemon juice, olive oil, and garlic. Salt and pepper to taste...pan sear and then transfer to the oven to finish cooking. You do not get more simple then this and it takes barely any time at all. If you marinade these guys over night the flavor with be great. Add some rosemary or thyme for some added kick.
