one says pray to Jesus for forgiveness. one says thats blasphemy, pray only to God. one says to also pray to Mother Mary. all three point fingers at the others explaining how proposterous and mislead they are.... and they all have a good point. all three say the others are hellbound. and where did the idea of purgatory come from? everyone discredits the other's books. some books were discredited by their own religion and left out of the bible. some say ask and youll be saved. others say we have no power over our own salvation. i pray and ask for the Lord to show me to the right path, but i cant pray with sincerity since i dont know who i am supposed to be praying to. i would currently consider myself a christian, but am waning in my faith and belief with every doubt. i suppose then, i am not a true believer. if i get baptised, and i'm not suddenly filled with the holy spirit and speaking tongues (did you?), will i know i'm not saved? im just supposed to never (or rarely) sin again?

You have one God why not ask Him? You think He don't have ears? He can hear you right where you are. He said ask and you shall recieve. Seek and you shall find. He did not make it hard. You don't have to go to man. God is in Heaven and His ears are open to the cry of a sincere heart who wants to know the truth.
Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life. Jesus said come unto me and I will lift you up. Come with a humble and sincere heart and you will find God.

the whole concept of antichrist comes from christianity, how can you say it is the antichrist, other religions cant even borrow that term, it is a lie. The term antichrist means anyone who denies or imitates the true Christ which is Jesus. I say just be right about it and stop fooling around with all these lies out there, give Jesus a try and ask him to come into your heart and be the lord of your life and to forgive your sins, i was fooled too once and sought many ways but it was only in Christ Jesus that I found the way. Just get a good bible and start with John, study yourself and you will see the truth.

well im not trying to be a bible basher.. but if you carefully study the bible you will see that it is full of errors, contradictions when it comes to telling you the path of salvation, there have been numerous additions and subtractions from the bible, just try to find "and there are three who bear witness in heaven..." in the NIV bible and when you dont research why and you soon find sites with many many differences, that the NIV bible is made from earlier manuscripts by more people with less bias etc. And also find yourself a copy of the Nag Hammadi Records. It's one sick twisted puzzle you have to struggle through to get God;s actual words out of it. Which is why God because of his mercy gave us the Quran in which the path to salvation is made clear. Jesus also made it clear before but they twisted his message. Jesus tells you the way to heaven is to believe the Father is the only true God, yet most christians believe that the father son and holy spirit are the true god because of conflicting later added verses to the bible. Follow God not men if you want to escape eternal torture.

None of it matters, not everyone can be right when it comes to religion, and not everyone can be wrong. It doesn't matter if you pray to Jesus, God, Buddha, Allah, or your dog who farts like a man. What matters is that you live your life as honest, and ethical as possible. If you don't find yourself fitting into one religion or another, take pieces that you feel strongly about and do your best. For instance, do on to others as you would have done on to yourself is similar to Karma. What goes around comes around. Are you a bad person, why do you have to pray for forgiveness or prosperity? Do what you think is right, and someday it will all just click for you. You don't have to be religious to have faith. And you don't have to explain yourself to others who don't agree with your ideals. Make good things happen for yourself instead of asking God when it will be your time. Be kind to animals, and people, and yourself.

i am really sorry you are suffering. i have a suggestion.
There are a lot of people who think Christianity is not supported by science, but that is not true.
Read The Case for a Creator Student Edition and The Case for Christ Student Edition, both are written by an Athiest, Lee Strobel, setting oout to try and prove Christianity wrong. It is by no means a boring read, and it is filled with all sorts of evidence. Read that, and than you can make a decision.

Without a doubt, the antichrist is the force behind the bible. It was written promoting all sorts of evil acts like rape, slavery, torture murder, sacrifice, child killing, etc. It is written in such a way (rampant with ambiguity and contradiction) as to cause division and strife among it's readers. We have hundreds of conflicting religions with no possibility of reconciliation. It is obviously not the work of a god who seeks unity and peace for his subjects. I don't see why this isn't obvious to everybody. Burn the bibles. They are the work of satan.

There are many different beliefs in this crummy world. but the only thing you can do to figure out what to believe is to pray to GOD and JESUS!!! God is our father and he wants you to belive that! You have to have faith. At first i didnt know what to believe. but then my parents taught me about the bible and how you should read it every day! i dont read it every day but everyone sins and i pray and god showed me that i should believe in the salvation plan!

Unless you pray to Jesus, when he returns to get revenge against the unbelievers he will destroy you along with them.
