Try changing soap and shampoo, you could be allergic to them.

I dont know what this is but one of my friends had this, i cant remeber now but i think it was from soap, we could swim alday in water and she would be fine but as soon as she steps in the shower shes covered in red spots like mozzie bits for bout 20 minutes after. If its just on your face id imagine that its from a product your using on the area, even somthing that you not putting on your face in there but could be washing out of your hair like a gel or something. If your sure its just the water, firstly reduce the temperature of the water on your face and then i think consider only using filtered water on your face and if you can afford it get a filter head installed in your shower.

The after-shower rash doesn't sound like an allergy. Sometimes heat and moisture trigger histamine release--it's a kind of non-allergic hives. You might try taking Claritin 10 milligrams per day for a couple of weeks to see if if that suppresses it.
Good luck to you!

If you are showering with very hot water it could be that, or sensitivity to your shampoo. Try using a hypoallergenic one for awhile and see if it helps, and lower the temp of the water.

You might be using water that is too hot.. try taking a shower in cooler water.

Also, after you shower, try putting a moisturizing lotion on your face/neck.. don't use a scented lotion or one that's really fancy, a plain one will be best.
