No. I don't think a person should blindly believe everything handed down to them, simply because it has the preferred label. There's really no "we" in this. The path you are on is yours alone, even if it has similarities with other people's paths. Even within a single religion, all of the followers are following their own path. Obviously even those within a single religion, who believe strongly, can still get along with those of the same label who hold slightly different beliefs. How is it that they can do it within a single religion, but you can't do it outside of a single religion? There is no way to prove any path is 100% correct... but that doesn't mean they aren't valid or don't make valid points or that there isn't anything good within the religion. We may disagree on points, but I'm sure that most religions would agree on basic things, especially on how to treat other people.

The one's who use religion to try to overpower others, do so out of a need to feel more powerful themselves. They have to step on others in order to get "higher".

You should make sure of all the things you know to be true, that they are true? this is accomplished by gaining knowledge about the subject or path you have chosen. If this is a spiritual question then look in the Scriptures for the answer, for all scripture is inspired of God. See 2 Tim 3:16 The answers are all attainable if you make the effort to look? The first thing to do is test yourself to see if you believe the bible? Any book that is true will harmonize with its self. Have you ever found any deception in the bible? Think about this : The Bible has survived for thousands of years, but man has lost many civilizations .So if you believe in a Creator then learn about him, and his purpose for the earth. see John 3:16 and 1 John 5:3

If their is doubt you must seek our the truth. That doubt may very well be God within your heart telling you "this is not correct that man mad not I."So go to gospelofthenazirenes.c for the original teachings of Christ, the original New testament before King Constantine misconstrued so many things. This is a fact- seek it out or stay in limbo -God give you free will to be brainwashed by nonsense teachings. Use your God Given intelligence to ascertain Truth. If you are sincerely seeking Truth then it will be revealed, but you have to be extremely sincere and fearless.

There is but one truth. Logic itself would show this to be true. There is only one path and Jesus reveals this truth. If a man loves the truth he will seek it and those who seek the truth will find it.Jesus is the truth and the way and the life and revelation of this comes form God.

there are many paths, and you don't have to choose just one, you can change directions at any time you choose - all paths lead to both the source and destination
