I know the perfect gift. I've made my boyfriend two flannel tied blankets, and he absolutely loves them! You don't have to be a creative person to be able to make them either. Measure out the length you want it, and buy two pieces of flannel material. One side could be a print, and the other a plain color to match it. Cut the edges and tie them. You might want to find someone who has made one before to show you exactly how to do it in person.

My daughter got her boyfriend, who is a big redsox fan, tickets to a game for the 2 of them. The thing that he really liked was the fact that she wanted to go with him, since she hates the sox. Anyway, she got the tickets on e-bay, and it was a big hit. My wife once got me tickets for a concert for the 2 of us, which I really appreciated. If all else fails, go on e-bay, and look for a one of a kind item that you don't normally see in stores.
