After I've been on the computer for awhile, I usually get a lump in the throat pain, like something is caught in my throat. I try to be aware of my ergonomics and take frequent breaks. It just hurts near my esophagus and I'm usually Ok when I'm away from the computer. Does anyone experience similar pain? Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

That sounds more like neck pain. If you're looking at the computer at a weird angle, it might be that. Otherwise, it might just be that you forget to swallow.

No throat, just eyes. Try taking bottled water or something to drink while your on the computer. This may remedy the sore throat.
