Would you want to live next to a sexual predator? Especially, if you have kids.
What would you do in your city or town to change having a sexual predator living in your neighborhood?

That is a horrible thing to deal with. Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything legally you can do other than move out.
Short of that, I think the first step would be to be aware of the situation. Look up offenders on a site such as http://www.familywatchdog.us. Know your state laws. And then just really keep an eye on the situation. I believe people like this take advantage primarily of people not being aware of their presence, and not aware of the situations they or their kids are in.
Then let all your neighbors know what you know. Thankfully, with sites like the above, the facts are indisputable. Nobody can say it's just a rumor if you find it online like that and anybody can look it up. If the person is shunned by enough people, he may move out.

Better the devil you know than the devil you don't know. Not much you can do about them living in your area but you can know where they live and what they look like. Tell your kids all of the information about these people so they can take care of themselves. At least they can know who to stay away from. I'd be more scared of those predators that aren't identified. Those Catch-A-Predator TV shows show that they are all around us.

As a victim I would tell you to watch your kids friends and family .my abuser is a family member and i was also abused by a teacher in school .so yes watch that neighbor but dont lower your guard about anyone else.
Also about that neighbor make his life a living hell make fliers with his face and his crimes and post them around town this way you can warn everyone who he is what he has done.
I sure he probably would not stay in the neighborhood after that.

In some places, you can go on a site usually provided by the local police or sheriff's department and see all the registered sex offenders and where they are living.

Again the system sucks. We are living in a country that if your not rich who cares. I think we should put one next to every government official and see how they like it!!!!

my number one answer to your question is to move out of the god darn hood and don,t come back or buy a couple if not several big mean dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
