I believe that there is an unearthly battle of good and evil going on around us everyday. I witness the battle for my husband's soul just before he became a christian. He wasn't possessed as you see in the movies and I have never witness such possession personally but I believe it can happen. My husband could not physically stay in the room when people were praying. I think the some instances of "possession" may be mental illness but not all.

I would say that you will probably only be convinced if you really study it or know someone possesed or if you believe in the Bible. The Bible talks of Satan's real presence in this world and of actual possesion.

possesion does happen. however, so do mental problems.

it's difficult to say because it is up to God. If someone has a mental problem and it is the Will of God that is the way it will be.

It's a type of insanity.

Oh and Jo, I can't stay in a room where people are praying either, that make me possessed or just unable to watch grown men and women waste their time and calories worshipping an imaginary sky pixie?
