Yes I enjoy the day but ..I do not buy thing's for someone I am with in the hope's of getting laid...I do it because I love them and it is a way to so that with a gift..

I personally love Valentines day. But not for what you might be thinking.
For us married folks in the mid thirties with kids...its great. We get to pawn off the kids on my parents and have a real romantic date. Just like when we were in College and Grad School. Its truly great. And if we eat fast we can actually make love and not worry about being...caught at ho me.
However, I think you are speaking about a bf. Luckily, I can remember my attitudes towards Valentines day then. Yes, it was almost a given that she got roses and we both got orgasms. A vehicle by which to specifically attain such? Not so much because after a while you settle into a routine and the sex comes fairly regularly anyway...
So...yes and no if that rambling mess helps.

I do and don't like Valentine's day. I like it because of the story behind it. I don't like it because of all the commercialism that has befallen it like so many other "holidays". Yes, I have purchased gifts for my girlfriends and lovers in the past. Not in the hopes of sex, but for the excuse to get her something nice and to see her smile!

I used to love V-day but now that Im single I am absolutely dreading it.Im not going to run out and get a date for it either.Thats just not me.Why do that when I dont love her! Hope you enjoy yours,I will be hiding that day.
